Hello, I am Sharryl, the owner, designer, and webmaster of carrotloves.com .

Yes, that is a picture of me fading with the carrot.

I have been a vegetarian since young teenage-hood, when my brother became a hunter. I was mostly vegan throughout the following years, though now I would say I am 99.9% vegan. I used to think that as a long term vegetarian, that I was living as humanely as I could. I didn’t expose myself to the harsh realities that farm animals endure, as I already didn’t eat them. For me the breeding and taking of an innocent vegetarian life for human consumption was just plain wrong. I really had no clue that factory farms existed, and that the lives of these farm animals was full of suffering and insane cruelties. Now, I am more informed, and I feel  I cannot live silently anymore. I have become a bit of an activist, and in doing so, I have found that I am now far from alone in my sensibilities. Millions of people are starting to recognize the truth, and are changing their lives. I have made this site to help people connect with all of their vegan and green options on the internet. I wish you great peace, good health, and vegan love and happiness.
